The 2UUL SC97 is a dedicated desoldering flux, meaning it is formulated specifically to remove existing solder rather than just assist in new soldering. It helps soften and break down old solder joints, making it easier to lift components such as FPC connectors and charging ports without damaging delicate PCB pads.
This flux has a strong deoxidizing capability, which removes oxidation and contamination from solder joints during heating. As a result, the solder melts more evenly and can be removed cleanly using tools like solder wick or hot air stations. This reduces the risk of pad lifting, short circuits, or incomplete solder removal—common problems in microsoldering work.
The SC97 features a low-residue and non-corrosive formula, making it safe for sensitive electronic components. After use, it leaves minimal residue on the PCB, which simplifies cleaning and helps maintain long-term reliability of repaired circuits.
