The AMAOE M59 Solder Tip Repair Paste is a professional-grade, lead-free tip rejuvenation compound specifically formulated to restore oxidized, non-wettable soldering iron tips to like-new condition . When soldering tips become dark, crusty, and refuse to accept solder, standard cleaning with a sponge or brass wool is no longer effective—the M59 paste chemically removes oxidation and re-tins the tip surface, restoring proper heat transfer and solder flow.

This active paste contains high-quality solder powder combined with specialized flux activators that break down oxidation when exposed to soldering temperatures . Unlike abrasive cleaning methods that can damage the iron plating, this chemical restoration process rejuvenates the tip without compromising its protective coating. The result is a clean, shiny, fully tinned tip ready for precision soldering work on PCBs, mobile phone motherboards, and other electronics assemblies .

Key Features

• Lead-Free Formula – Environmentally friendly composition compliant with RoHS standards, safe for professional electronics work
• Rapid Oxidation Removal – Chemically breaks down oxide layers on the tip surface, restoring its ability to wet and hold solder effectively
• Re-Tins in One Operation – Simultaneously cleans and applies a fresh layer of solder alloy to the tip, eliminating the need for multiple steps
• Prolongs Tip Life – Regular use removes damaging oxidation before it permanently degrades the iron plating, extending the usable life of expensive soldering tips
• Easy to Use – Simple dip-and-wipe application method requires no special equipment or extensive training
• Wide Temperature Compatibility – Effective at typical soldering iron operating temperatures (300-400°C / 570-750°F)
• Compact Container – Convenient packaging allows storage on the workbench, with some containers featuring self-adhesive pads for secure placement
• Suitable for Various Tip Types – Works with most soldering iron tip materials, including copper-core, iron-plated, and alloy tips across different brands
