The AMAOE #P #Q Solder Pry Blade is a professional hand tool specifically engineered for the delicate removal of electronic components. The numerical designation likely refers to specific tip geometry variations suitable for different chip packages or repair workflows.

Unlike standard metal pry tools that can damage PCB pads when used improperly, this specialized blade provides precise leverage for lifting chips after solder reflow. It is commonly used for IC chip removal, CPU extraction, and scraping underfill glue, making it a popular alternative to traditional knife blades that are too brittle for this application.

Key Features

• Precision Wedge Design: Features a knife-edge or wedge-shaped tip designed to slide under Ball Grid Array (BGA) chips and Quad Flat Packages (QFP) after the solder has been heated, allowing for clean separation [citation:1].
• Hardened Steel Construction: Made from wear-resistant steel to maintain a sharp edge and resist bending under the force required for chip removal.
• Ergonomic Handle: Typically features a comfortable grip and a flat side to prevent rolling on the workbench.
• Magnetic Tips: Often magnetized to pick up small removed components or loose solder balls after separation.
