The JCID 14 Series Receiver Test Adaptor is a specialized diagnostic board designed for the JCID V1SE and V1S PRO programmers . This adaptor enables technicians to test, diagnose, and repair the proximity sensor and ambient light sensor (receiver FPC) on iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max devices .
When the original receiver flex cable (earpiece FPC) is damaged or missing, critical functions like True Tone, auto-brightness, and proximity sensing (screen off during calls) are lost. This adaptor allows technicians to read and write the necessary data to a replacement receiver FPC without requiring the original cable, restoring full functionality to the iPhone 14 series .
