The JCID Tag-On Face ID Repair FPC Dot Projector Flex Cable is a specialized programmer test cable designed for restoring Face ID functionality on iPhone X, XS, XR, and XS Max devices . This flex cable works in conjunction with a compatible JCID programmer (such as the V1S, V1SE, or V1S PRO) to read, write, and activate dot matrix data from the Face ID module without requiring soldering or removal of optical components .
