The JCID Romeo2 Face ID Chip for iPhone 13-14 Series is a specialized 2nd-generation integrated replacement IC chip designed for repairing the Dot Matrix (Flood Illuminator) component of Face ID systems on iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series devices . This chip allows technicians to restore Face ID functionality when the original dot matrix component has been physically damaged or when transferring Face ID data to a new screen assembly.
As part of JCID's Romeo2 series, this chip features pre-balled solder spheres, a 1:1 solder pad layout, and simplified installation requirements—eliminating the need for manual MOSFET short-circuiting or additional capacitor installation.
