The YCS 2020 Original Lengthening Solder Wick is a professional-grade desoldering braid designed for precision electronics repair. This 5‑piece set features a 2.0mm width and a generous 2.0m length per roll, offering excellent value for high‑volume soldering and rework tasks. Manufactured from high‑purity copper with an integrated rosin flux core, it provides rapid, low‑residue solder removal for PCB assembly, BGA rework, and mobile phone motherboard repairs. The 5‑piece bulk pack ensures you always have a fresh, clean wick on hand for consistent, professional results.

Key Features

1. 5‑Piece Value Set – Includes five individual rolls of 2.0m desoldering wick, providing ample material for multiple repair sessions. This bulk design ensures a steady supply of fresh wick is always available for consistent performance.
2. Pure Copper Construction – Braided from high‑purity copper material, offering excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. The result is faster heat transfer for rapid, efficient solder absorption, reducing heat exposure to surrounding components.
3. Rosin Flux Core (No‑Clean Formula) – Each wick is factory‑pre‑fluxed with an environmentally friendly rosin core. During use, the flux activates to remove oxides and assist in solder melting while leaving minimal, non‑corrosive residue. This eliminates the need for post‑soldering cleaning, saving time and extending the life of your PCBs.
4. Optimized 2.0mm Width – The 2.0mm width is specifically selected for precision electronics repair, balancing coverage with accuracy. It is wide enough to efficiently remove solder from standard pads, yet narrow enough to access tight BGA joints and fine‑pitch components found in smartphones, laptops, and tablets.
5. Anti‑Static & Anti‑Oxidation – Engineered with anti‑static properties to protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage. The pure copper weave also resists oxidation and corrosion, ensuring that the wick remains effective over time and does not contaminate your work.
